I’ve known veeru for almost 12 years now . He has been my personal trainer / S & C coach ever since I’ve known him. I’m a professional cricket player. During these twelve years I’ve enjoyed each and every session I have worked with him as much as I’ve enjoyed playing my sport . He has brought about a holistic approach towards my training so much so that it extends outside the gym boundaries as well. I’ve got opportunities to train alongside people from the athletic field as well which has pushed my physical boundaries way beyond what I would have set otherwise.
I have learnt so much from Viru. He was willing to share his expert knowledge and answer any of my novice questions regarding fitness I put up patiently. My neck pain has disappeared and I was able to push my strength to levels unimagined by me. The beauty of his expertise is he works around your strengths and weakness.
"I've been training with Bodynomics team for quite some time. Keerthi is my personal trainer. I badly wanted to get in shape after rehabilitation following ACL reconstruction surgery.
I was 107 Kg when we started training. After we started I lost almost 29kg. Also I was able to complete 11.5km run within 1 hour and 53km cycle ride within 2hr 10 min. There are no words to express my happiness after getting such a result.
Being a trainer from the group training and strength training background I wanted to understand the personal training side of things and wanted to learn the hypertrophy style of training. When I was looking for best brains in the industry I was referred to Viru by a school friend of mine who had done his body transformation from being a fat guy to becoming one with six packs.
I first met Viru in 2013 after working out with different trainers, I basically had a lot of ideas about fitness but I lacked confidence since I never saw a difference in my body. Initially when I started with Viru it was slow paced and a lot of emphasis was given to exercise techniques. But in a month I started gaining strength and was able to push weights that I thought was impossible. The interesting part about training with Viru was that my training program was planned according to my needs.
"I had started working with Viru initially around 3 years ago when I had just got back from having been playing Cricket and training in Australia for a few years. In search of a similar set of ideologies and someone who knew their stuff as well, I would say I was definitely lucky to speak to him initially at Fitness One and then continue to work with him at Transform Fitness.

Let me just explain a little of my past..
All my life I've been fat and obese but I wanted to be fit(which by that time fit meant weighing less in the scale). I've made so many attempts to get there, but the results never lasted (I've even gone to the extreme levels of crash dieting no one would even believe if I say I did that). Enrolled in so many gyms annually but couldn't even make it to a double digit sessions. In spite of all continuous devastating events I still wanted to do it some how in anyway possible humanly or inhumanly.
Even though many people today are constantly trying to loose their weight ,being super thin has been my major problem since childhood.
I've had several moments in school where i wasn't confident enough only because of my physique .I felt really annoyed to hear the repeated questions "Do you eat at home or not?" from my relatives . Then I decided to work hard and gain weight .

My name is Wayne Peppin, I'm 37 years old and an athlete. I'm a SAF Games gold medalist in Long Jump. I've been training since 1999 and still am. Over the past years I've struggled through multiple injuries and in 2015 I started working with Viru. The very next year I won 2 medals in the State Championships. Following which in 2018, after a 10 year gap of not being in form, with immense help and complete guidance of Viru I was able to win again in the National level.
As a skuller and bow during my rowing career in school, it was the one thing that ensured I could burn off as much as I could. In 2010 I was struck with a L1,L2,L3 slip disc and had to halt any kind of activity. This set me off into a sedentary lifestyle where I ended up hitting above 123 kgs and a waist size of 46. After many trainers and hopelessly losing weight and gaining it all back, I lost all hope and made excuses to make myself to feel better, it was a painful process.
I first met Coach Viru in Transform Fitness as my interviewer since then I knew that he is going to create that change in my life .
I started working out at the age of 16 coz I had blood pressure and I was not obese but overweight and that's when I started training to create that change in my life .
So years passed then coach viru comes into the picture . He had this whole different perspective about fitness and how you can achieve your goals easily with what science has to offer. I've met some trainers but most of them had this black and white thinking but Coach Viru taught me the importance of critical thinking.
I think it was about when I just got out of school when I met Viru in one of the popular branches of a huge gym in Chennai. Keeping in mind my age, it was the time of a rebellious teenager, who wanted to bulk up and flex around for all the wrong reason. I’m so glad I met Viru cause I wouldn’t have wanted it another way. Keeping his training session away for now, his knowledge about fitness just astounds you. He makes you aware of what goes on in your body and what you are supposed to do about it. One of the most impressive facts about Viru is that he doesn’t impose or threaten you with clichés like any other instructor would. Just the simple truth said in an understanding way to you is enough.

Okay!!! let me start but from where do I start?? Anyway let me start from the beginning.
Viru na was my senior in athletics as well as in my engineering college. The person who completed Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE) ,got placed in one of the biggest MNC's - WIPRO and quit WIPRO. Chose fitness and nutrition ,the field which he loved the most. I just thought Viru na had gone insane until I approached him in 2012 to improve my performance. I had to undergo a major surgery in 2011. I thought my sports career has come to an end.That's when my Athletics coach WAYNE PEPPIN, who is a very good friend of Viru na told me to go for strength training/nutritional guidance under him. When most of the coaches and athletes said it’s impossible to train for hurdles because my surgery was a major one, Viru na told me 6 months of serious training is very much enough to bring back my performance.

I have been working out since 2005 and have been to various gyms and multiple trainers ,but have always been misguided . Traditional trainers tell you to push heavier weights , take medicines , workout six days a week , go on insane diets to achieve the desired results . In this course I didn’t realise I had damaged my body and health and was really fed up. My only goal was to be fit rather than have six pack abs.
Fast forward to 2016 and I was introduced to Viru through my masseur Mahesh . The first meeting with Viru , I was shocked by his approach . He told me to stop everything I was doing . I was taking 4 scoops of protein everyday . He told me next 6 months no need to take protein . In fact he even checked my shoes and told me to throw them away . No trainer ever said this .
